I’ve been with namecheap a long long time now. They rarely raise prices and it’s usually because upstream costs go up and everyone is raising prices. I’m a happy customer and ain’t switching. I don’t get bothered for endless upgrades. I only get emails when my domains come up for renewal or on the very rare occasion this happens.

Netdata is great and easily deployed via docker. I ran it bare metal before and was also pleased if that’s your preference.

I do tone mapping just fine with a 1050 TI. It just happened to be what I had left over for my server and it works very well.

Contact Google support, I have no trouble port forwarding using the home app, other than their app is a bit cumbersome.

You read breaking changes before you update things, that’s how.

The only bulbs I know of that don’t are SengLED bulbs because it was a deliberate (and misguided) choice by the manufacturer. I have some Hue bulbs mixed in with my network and they work the same as everything else.

My Home Automation and Home Assistant brain is asking “Why two concurrent Zigbee networks?”

Phillips Hue is based on Zigbee and should work with your Conbee setup. Running them separately weakens both of them. Especially since the line of sight that light bulbs have makes them some of the best Zigbee routers in your household.

@gofireworks, @shortcake, and @JeremyT. Thank you all for the suggestion of Immich. This looks like the one. It looks like it’s only been around since early last year which would explain why I didn’t find it last time I looked for a replacement.

Alternatives to PhotoPrism
Are there any full featured alternatives to PhotoPrism? I'd be happy to support their devs but charging almost $80 a year for basic features like having more than one user is kind of absurd. At that cost I'd rather just pay for the extra dirt cheap storage from Google and keep things there. That said, I'd really love to continue moving everything I can away from the big G and photos is a sticking point because I have a wife and child and other family members who depend on it.
